1. Who We Are
Marketo Ops Radar (marketo-ops-radar.ghost.io) is a personal publication run by JP Garcia, an individual based in Spain. It is not a company, and it is not affiliated with Adobe Inc., Kapturall, or any other organisation.
For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), JP Garcia is the data controller.

2. What Data We Collect and Why
2.1 Email subscribers
If you choose to subscribe to this publication, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. This data is collected and processed for the purpose of sending you content updates by email.
Legal basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You provide this consent by actively submitting the subscription form. You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in every email.
Subscription data is stored and processed by Ghost Foundation (our hosting provider), acting as a data processor on our behalf. Ghost stores subscriber data on servers within the EU. Their privacy policy is available at ghost.org/privacy.
2.2 Usage and analytics data
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised data about how visitors use the site, including pages visited, time spent on pages, and links clicked (including outbound links to YouTube). This data does not identify you personally.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding how content is used in order to improve it.
Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to servers in the United States. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Their privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
2.3 Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Ghost (for subscription and session management) and Google Analytics (for usage tracking). By continuing to use this site you consent to the use of these cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality.
3. How Long We Keep Your Data
Subscriber email addresses are retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Upon unsubscription, your data is deleted from our active mailing list. Residual copies may remain in Ghost's backup systems for a short period thereafter.
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months.
4. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your personal data. For subscribers, you can exercise this right by unsubscribing and then contacting us to confirm full deletion.
- Right to restriction of processing — you may request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability — you may request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
